Renowned baritone Roderick Williams OBE captured the heart of the nation performing at the coronation of King Charles III. Here he joins forces with acclaimed musicians Iain Burnside (piano) and Leon Bosch (double bass) for a recital of songs including Butterworth’s Six Songs from A Shropshire Lad, works by Amy Beach and Rebecca Clarke, and Grant McLachlan’s The silence of the day for baritone, double bass and piano. The evening is hosted by the church referenced by Dickens in Little Dorrit and will also feature a short performance by Emerald Choir, conducted by Clare Caddick.
